01

Set your business identity

Settings controls the business name, address, phone number, brand color, logo, and saved signature. These details are reused so every new invoice begins with a consistent sender identity.

02

Include a signature when it adds value

A signature is optional. It can add a personal finish for consulting, design, and professional services, but it is not required for a valid invoice in the product workflow.

Upload or draw a signature in Settings, then choose whether to include it on a particular invoice. Avoid using a signature when your company policy requires unsigned system documents.

03

Use payment instructions only when needed

Manual payment instructions appear at the bottom of the invoice when the client needs bank transfer, PayPal, check, or cash details. When Stripe card payments are fully active, new invoices omit the saved manual instructions by default.

04

Review invoice-specific choices

Client details, notes, line-item descriptions, tax, discounts, payment terms, and the signature setting can vary by invoice. Use the final invoice preview to confirm that saved account defaults and invoice-specific choices work together.
