Understand the collection workflow

Every standard invoice follows the same clear path: create the invoice, review the document and email, send it to the client, then monitor payment and follow-up activity from the invoice list.

Invoice Reminder is designed around collections rather than bookkeeping. It gives you a professional invoice, a hosted client page, payment options, and a reminder plan without replacing your accounting system.

  • Draft: add the client, line items, currency, dates, and payment details.
  • Review: inspect both the invoice and the exact email your client will receive.
  • Send: deliver the email and create a hosted invoice link.
  • Collect: track payment and let scheduled reminders handle the follow-up.

Complete your business profile

Open Settings and add the business name you want clients to recognize. Your business name appears in the bill-from section and helps identify the sender in invoice emails.

  1. 01

Open Settings from the left menu or account menu.

  2. 02

Add your business name, address, and optional phone number.

  3. 03

Choose a brand color and upload a logo if you use one.

  4. 04

Save the profile before creating your first invoice.

03

Create and send your first invoice

Select New invoice, enter the client email, add at least one line item, and choose a due date. You can type the details manually or use the AI drafting field to turn a short description into structured invoice fields.

Before anything is sent, the final review opens in two clear stages. Review the invoice first, then review the email. Confirm only after both match what you want your client to receive.

04

Replay the in-product tour

The guided product tour opens automatically for a new workspace. You can replay it later from the account menu by choosing Product tour, or from the Product guide section in Settings.
